Introduction:

Traditions or norms are an ancient social phenomenon inherent to human nature, through which societies achieve more organized and regulated social behavior of individuals and their interactions. “They are a natural outcome of the requirements and renewed needs of societies, arising spontaneously from the environment and social life systems, encompassing qualities and deficiencies, wealth and poverty, knowledge and ignorance, righteousness, and deviation. They reflect the state of each society, as virtue produces virtuous customs, ignorance produces ignorant customs. The better a society’s religious commitment, the sounder its upbringing, the elevated its culture, and the increased awareness, the higher it rises in its customs and traditions, reducing undesirable habits.” Traditions or norms come as solutions to social problems, contributing to the flow of life, facilitating the movement of societies, and achieving harmony among all their components.
