Jewellery Its Lease, Loan, and Endowment

Praise be to Allah alone, and peace and blessings be upon the Prophet Muhammad, the last prophet.

Indeed, Allah, the Almighty, has commanded us to show kindness to his creation and benefit them. He said, “And be benefactors, God loves benefactors.” [Quran, Al-Baqarah: 195]

One form of kindness is giving charity, lending, loaning, endowing, and others. The Jewellery is among what is lent and endowed, and women need it for adornment, and lending and endowing it as acts benefact. It can also be given to others in exchange for compensation, like renting.

In this research, with the permission of Allah, I will address three issues related to jewellery: leasing jewellery, loaning it, endowing it, and explaining the ruling on Zakat regarding it.
